Proof of Experience
[BA in Humanities from CSUS (English Concentration)] Systematically trained in English writing, reading comprehension, linguistics, and literature. Teaching is structured, not just casual conversation.
Extensive frontline teaching experience. Familiar with common challenges for Chinese students: fear of speaking, inaccurate pronunciation, knowing grammar but not how to use it, slow reading, and lack of structure in writing.
Breaking down "oral expression" into actionable steps: Input (Listening/Reading) → Output (Sentence Patterns/Expression) → Pronunciation Correction → Situational Retelling → Task-based Expression. Progress is visible in every lesson.
Rigorous but not overwhelming. Emphasizing a balance of encouragement and correction to help children feel confident, willing to speak, and sound more natural.
